Congratulations to this year’s recipients!
Together, these 8 recipients have been awarded $62,000 in financial assistance towards their gender-affirming surgeries. With this funding, each of them has the resources necessary to fully afford their respective surgical expenses and receive the care they so urgently need.
Meet the 2022 recipients:
This cycle, we received 1,565 applications. While virtually every applicant was financially impacted by the pandemic in some way, most applicants were also facing additional serious challenges, including homelessness or housing insecurity, discrimination by a healthcare provider or employer, and/or living with a disability or chronic illness.
