Meet Alekzander

Alekzander (he/him) is a 27-year-old trans man seeking hormone therapy. He struggles to make ends meet each month, as his SSDI payments barely cover rent and utilities, and he has faced housing insecurity multiple times throughout his life. With his insurance not covering HRT, Alekzander has tried fundraising through GoFundMe and other avenues, but he was still unable to secure the support he needed, leaving him feeling frustrated and deeply dysphoric.

A dedicated student, Alekzander hopes to complete his bachelor’s degree in biology despite the challenges he faces living with a disability. Receiving HRT support represents a turning point, giving him the chance to live more authentically and with greater confidence.

He shared, “I just want to be able to look at myself in the mirror and be proud of who I am. I've struggled with dysphoria my whole life, and it'll be nice to finally tackle that.”
