Create a culture of belonging

Events & Education

Point of Pride partners with companies, ERGs, and organizations to deliver engaging, practical LGBTQ+ and trans-inclusive trainings—designed to meet teams where they are, spark meaningful dialogue, and drive real-world impact.

Point of Pride is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit providing direct, life-saving healthcare and wellness support to trans people who face financial and systemic barriers to care. When you partner with us, you’re doing two things at once:

  • Equipping your team with thoughtful, accessible education and resources
  • Supporting trans people directly, through programs rooted in dignity, care, and community

Our approach

Every engagement is collaborative and customized. We start by listening—learning about your team, your goals, and your challenges. From there, we co-create a single training or a short series of events.

Participants can ask questions and explore topics in a supportive, judgment-free environment.

Our trainers are subject matter experts with deep knowledge of trans inclusion, allyship, and cultural competency—bringing both professional expertise and lived experience to every session.

Popular focus areas include:

  • LGBTQ+ Foundations: terminology, history, and shared language
  • Trans Experiences: navigating work, healthcare, and daily life
  • Developing Allyship: practical ways to show up and take action
  • Employment Equity: policies and practices that support retention and belonging
The training was thoughtfully structured, with real-world examples and practical language that I can use to initiate meaningful conversations and advocate for inclusivity. I feel more confident and equipped to support my transgender colleagues and contribute to a more inclusive workplace.

Building a relationship with Point of Pride through our LGBTQ+ employee resource group programming has been an incredibly rewarding experience, and we are grateful to support their mission. From heartfelt card-writing to engaging live virtual education sessions, our employees have had meaningful opportunities to connect and learn more about the LGBTQ+ community. The card-writing activity brought our hybrid team together in a creative and accessible way. Jeff’s wealth of knowledge and experiences provided personal connection and understanding for our employees across the globe.

Engaging events

Our interactive events can take place any time of year or align with key dates like Trans Day of Visibility, Trans Day of Awareness, and Pride.

Presentations are typically 45–60 minutes, include time for a live Q&A, and are primarily offered virtually.

For teams looking to create an even more hands-on experience, we offer an optional letter writing volunteer activation. Participants write heartfelt notes to trans youth and adults, putting allyship into action by offering words of encouragement and solidarity.

Digital toolkit library

Partners receive access to a growing library of practical resources, including:

  • Pronoun guides with actionable tips
  • Inclusive healthcare policy recommendations
  • Supporting trans employees through transition at work
  • Creating trans-affirming workplace environments
  • Curated resource lists for deeper learning

Partnership Pricing

Standard Honorarium

The standard honorarium is $2,000 per live session. Many partners choose to contribute more in order to deepen their impact and support Point of Pride’s direct care programs.

“The session provided us with comprehensive information, allowing us to develop a more nuanced understanding of the experiences and needs of our trans and LGBTQ+ colleagues. We left feeling empowered to make positive changes within our communities.”

Volunteer-Powered Training

We recognize that many ERGs want meaningful programming but don’t have access to a dedicated budget.

Companies and organizations that participate in Benevity, Goodera, and other Dollars for Doers corporate volunteerism programs can receive a live session at no cost, as employee participation in a presentation or training often qualifies as eligible volunteer time.

How it works:

  • >50 colleagues participate for 1 hour, or
  • >25 colleagues participate for 2 hours
When logged through your company’s volunteer platform, the honorarium is fully waived—allowing your team to invest their time while supporting Point of Pride’s mission.
