Meet Greg

Greg (he/him) is a 56-year-old trans woman living in a rural area of a conservative state, where finding affirming care is nearly impossible. With limited income from Social Security Disability and few resources for LGBT+ people in his community, Greg has had to navigate both financial strain and the risks of being visible in an unsupportive environment. Despite these challenges, he remains committed to living authentically and is preparing to take the next steps in his journey.

A lifelong problem-solver, Greg has worked as a mechanic, repaired computers, and even tinkered with VCRs in his younger days. He’s proud of his independence and resilience, and is determined to bring that same resourcefulness to his transition.

“I do my best to help those that need it,” Greg shared. “I’ve always been loyal, and I’m ready to finally take care of myself, too.” With this support, Greg is excited to move forward, embrace his true self, and live openly with pride.
