Jace's story

HRT Access Fund recipient

Jace (he/him) is a single father living in rural Missouri, where access to HRT is extremely limited. In his deeply conservative community, most providers refuse to prescribe HRT due to company policy or personal beliefs, leaving him with no local options. The nearest provider is more than two hours away, a trip made even more difficult by his history of multiple shoulder surgeries and the challenges of being a single parent.

Despite these barriers, Jace is determined to continue his transition. He shared, “Receiving 12 months of HRT support would not only mean a lot for me, but for my son. Allocating funds is nearly impossible, even for something that has saved me, HRT. This support would allow me to be the best dad I can be, while also giving me the chance to live more authentically.”
