Meet Jamie

Jamie (he/they) is a 34-year-old Black nonbinary transmasc person navigating unstable housing and major life transitions. Living in Texas without a permanent address has made it extremely difficult to access consistent HRT.

Jamie currently works part-time, but financial insecurity, paired with the dangers of living in his area, has led him to prepare for a move out of Texas. This difficult transition also means leaving behind his wife, who is also trans, and their pets. Jamie shared, “Running out of testosterone while going through these big changes would drastically impact my already unstable mental health.”
