Meet Jayden

Jayden (he/him) is 23, and began his transition as soon as he could, starting testosterone at 18 and having top surgery at 20. But life threw unexpected challenges his way, like an apartment flood and housing instability that made it difficult to maintain consistent access to HRT.

Beyond his own journey, Jayden is a lifelong activist passionate about social justice. He’s been involved in local organizing around food insecurity, homelessness, sustainability, and civil rights. When he’s not busy with activism, he enjoys surfing, skateboarding, and late-night walks under the stars to think about life.

For Jayden, gender-affirming healthcare is about more than physical changes—it’s about confidence, stability, and finally being able to move through the world in his own skin. As he put it, “I’m excited to wear whatever I want, present however, and walk around finally feeling comfortable and confident.”
