Meet Jaymee

Jaymee (she/her) is a 28-year-old trans woman seeking assistance in affording HRT. For several years, she was able to access care, though it was over 100 miles away from where she lived. During that time, she experienced housing insecurity and ongoing financial difficulties. When she lost her car, continuing HRT became impossible, leaving her feeling desperate, hopeless, and defeated.

Curious by nature, Jaymee has always loved reading and learning. She is now working toward becoming a paralegal while also caring for and supporting her aging parents.

Jaymee is ecstatic at the thought of being able to return to hormones. She believes the physical changes are nothing short of euphoric, but even more important are the peace of mind and mental and emotional stability they bring. She looks forward to finally feeling a sense of contentment and synergy between her mind and body.
