Meet Max

Max (he/him) has recently secured housing after experiencing four years of homelessness and now receives Section 8 support while waiting for a decision on his SSDI application. Despite this progress, accessing consistent HRT has remained an ongoing struggle. The only clinics that accept his insurance have been difficult to navigate, and even when he managed to pay for a visit, his insurance has repeatedly denied prior authorizations for testosterone.

Max shared, “This support would allow me to continue my transition. In these scary times, I can’t afford to not pass, and being off T makes me nervous.”
