Meet Sif

Sif (she/her) is a Black trans woman from Texas who recently lost both her job and her health insurance due to workplace discrimination. Because Texas does not provide protections for trans people, Sif was terminated after coming out, leaving her without income or the coverage she relied on to access her HRT.

For more than two years, HRT has been life-saving medication for Sif, helping her live authentically as her true self. Now, without insurance or financial resources, continuing her care has become impossible.

Sif shared, “Receiving 12 months of HRT support would mean the world to me. It would allow me to continue my care and live my life as my true self, while I rebuild after losing everything.”
