Meet Raven

Raven (she/her) is a trans woman rebuilding her life after experiencing homelessness and moving for safety and opportunity. She has been searching tirelessly for work while also working toward her GED, but barriers to employment and discrimination have made stability difficult. To make ends meet, she donates plasma twice a week just to cover food, bills, and rent. Local options for trans healthcare remain out of reach, as nearby clinics do not provide affirming care.

For Raven, access to HRT would be life-saving. “Every day it feels like it’s getting worse, watching my body decline into manhood and stray further from who I truly am,” she shared. After nearly five years of waiting, receiving support would give her the chance to finally live as herself with dignity, hope, and relief.
