Our Goals

This survey was created for and by trans people. It’s about more than data—it’s about telling our stories, uplifting our experiences, and shaping a better future for trans healthcare.

Our goals are to:

1. Center our voices. We want to capture data and real stories and experiences from trans people navigating healthcare—directly from the community most impacted.

2. Highlight trans joy. Too often, research focuses only on the barriers or challenges we face. So, we’re also asking: What’s working? What practices, providers, and experiences have helped create positive health outcomes?

3. Build tools for change. The insights gathered will inform educational reports and resources for both patients and providers. Together, we can contribute to a future where affirming, respectful healthcare is accessible to more of us.
