Point of Pride Welcomes Jeff Main as Executive Director

Point of Pride is thrilled to announce incoming executive director, Jeff Main (he/him). As a co-founder of Point of Pride and the previous Board Secretary, Jeff has spent the last 7 years leading and growing the organization, from spearheading and overseeing the programs to cultivating donors and partnerships.

In his new role, Jeff will lead Point of Pride’s strategic direction and growth; oversee programs, education, and advocacy; and continue to build lasting and meaningful relationships with the people we serve as well as our supporters.

“When we founded Point of Pride, we only dreamed it would grow to where it is today, to be able to help the tens of thousands of people we’ve helped," Jeff shared. "Our community and our allies are incredibly powerful and we’ve demonstrated that collectively, month over month and year over year, in our support of one another, our resilience, and our perseverance.”

“Every single person is important: every person who is vulnerable and can’t access the life-saving care they need, and every one of us who takes action to support them. There’s never been a more critical time for us all to do this work, and I’m truly honored to be able to dedicate myself to the cause full-time after leading the organization as a volunteer for all these years.”

For the 7 years since its inception in 2016, Point of Pride has been entirely volunteer-run, and has grown to be one of the world's largest organizations focused entirely on direct service to the transgender and gender diverse community.

As we support more folks this year than any year prior, we’re grateful and excited to add Jeff as our second full-time staff member this year alongside our dedicated volunteers and supporters who make this work possible.
