Free binders & gaffs for trans youth in need

This holiday season, Transanta and Point of Pride are teaming up to deliver life-saving chest binders and gaffs to trans youth in need. We're proud to spread love, support, and gender-affirming care—because every trans youth deserves to feel safe and seen.

For applicants:

Thank you for pre-registering for a garment through Point of Pride in partnership with Transanta! To ensure you receive your garment, please complete the following steps:

  1. Add binders@pointofpride.org to your safe-senders list.
    This is the email we will use to communicate with you about your garment request.

  2. Request your garment.
    Read through the program details and submit your request. Be sure to use the same email address you used to submit this form so we can properly categorize your request.

  3. Next Steps:
    We’ll verify that we have your size in stock and reach out to you. The timing depends on availability, but most folks don’t wait longer than 1 month for a gaff or 3–4 months for a binder. Keep an eye out for an email with the subject: "Action Required: Your Gaff/Binder from Point of Pride is Almost Ready to Ship." Follow the instructions in this email to confirm you’re ready to receive your garment.

  4. Shipping and Tracking:
    Once your garment is ready to ship, we’ll send you a tracking number. You can set up text alerts through the USPS website to track your garment.


Customs Processes (International Requests Only):

You’ll need to verify that you understand and agree to the following statement: "I have researched the customs policy for my country and understand how it may affect me. I understand that Point of Pride cannot attempt to reship a garment that was returned due to an issue with customs."

Please note:

  • Customs, tariffs, taxes, and fees assessed by your country cannot be paid by Point of Pride. It is your responsibility to understand the customs process and be prepared to handle any associated costs.
  • The customs form will list the contents as "underwear" (Harmonization Number 6208.92) or an undershirt (Harmonization Number 6309.00.0000) and will be marked as a gift with an estimated value of $15 USD.
  • USPS does not allow us to pre-pay any customs, taxes, or tariffs (see USPS FAQ.)
  • Occasionally, customs may request an invoice or proof of purchase to clear the process. When you confirm your garment, you will receive an invoice showing that no currency was exchanged.
